Sony Australia expands its line-up of digital single-lens reflex (D-SLR) cameras with the launch of the _350. The _350 incorporates new Quick Auto Focus, Live View and a 2.7-inch variable angle LCD screen.
It is a 14.2-megapixel DSLR using a CCD image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, in-built Super SteadyShot image stabilisation system, D-Range Optimiser, high ISO, anti-dust protection system and long battery life.
It also features the Smart Teleconverter function which applies zoom scaling on images, achieving an equivalent of 1.4x or 2x magnification with a push of a button.
Similar to previous _ models, the _350 has a special anti-static coating on its low-pass filters to prevent dust build-up. In addition, the Super SteadyShot anti-vibration mechanism activates to dislodge dust each time the camera is turned off.
Sony Australia has also announced the launch of its new digital single lens reflex (D-SLR) camera, the _200, successor model to the _100. The _200 combines a 10.2mega-pixel high resolution CCD, BIONZ image processing engine and ISO3200 sensitivity, the highest among current entry-class D-SLR cameras.
It also has built-in Super Steady Shot image stabilisation D-Range Optimiser, anti-dust protection system and Sony’s unique eye-start activation
