two-new-pentax-dslrs.jpgThe Pentax K200D camera is equipped with a SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism, a large, high-performance 23.5mm x 15.7mm 10.2 Megapixel CCD image sensor and Custom Image functions that help to create images by allowing users to select one of the six modes.

It has a Dust Removal system and an auto sensitivity control function that automatically sets the optimum sensitivity up to ISO 1600.

The Auto Picture mode automatically sets the most appropriate shooting mode for a given subject or situation.

Other features include a choice of 16-segment multi-pattern metering, centre-weighted metering and spot metering, 22 custom functions to personalize camera operations, simultaneous recording of RAW- and JPEG-format images and eight built in digital filters. Pentax have also announced the K20D.

The K20D features a newly developed CMOS 14.6 megapixel sensor, a new Custom Image function, which lets the photographer select one of six finishing touches, a Shake Reduction mechanism and Live View.

It also features a choice of 16-segment multi-pattern metering, centre-weighted metering and spot metering to accommodate various photographic applications.
