Featuring Kodak’s new Smart Capture technology, both happy snappers feature a 10-megapixel camera CCD, 3x optical zoom lens and 3-inch wide angle viewing LCD screens.

Individually, each camera touts sleek and stylish design. The M1033 is available in black while the V1073 comes in robust gun metal grey casing and features Kodak’s first resistive touch screen.

According to Kodak, the M1033 and V1073 are built with the new Smart Capture technology that helps ensure great pictures can be taken in just about any environment, by anyone.

Darren Swenson, ANZ SPG Manager, of Kodak Consumer Digital Imaging Group said that with the new addition to the Kodak Easyshare digital camera range, Kodak is continuing to innovate and introduce smart technology that delivers on the promise of “you press the button, we do the rest”.

“For 120 years, Kodak has helped consumers capture life-long memories and now, in this digital age, it all comes to life in this camera that allows users to take quality pictures easily, affordably and without compromise.”

The suggested retail price of Kodak EasyShare M1033 digital camera is $349, and will be available in Harvey Norman, Domain, Joyce Mayne and Ofis from June 2008. The suggested retail price of Kodak EasyShare V1073 is $399, and will be available from photo specialty and selected consumer electronics retailers.
