Kodak introduces the Easyshare M1033 and V1073 with smart capture technology

Kodak has just added two new digital cameras to its Easyshare series, the M1033 and V1073.
Featuring Kodak’s new Smart Capture technology, both happy snappers feature a 10-megapixel camera CCD, 3x optical zoom lens and 3-inch wide angle viewing LCD screens.

Ricoh has launched the Ricoh R8, a 10MP compact with zoom lens covering the 35mm equivalent of 28-200mm with vibration correction and 1cm macro.It also features face recognition, snap focus, the ability to step the zoom to specified focal lengths and the 1:1 picture ratio that has proven popular in Ricoh’s GX100 and GRD II models.

Nikon announced the new Nikon D60, a 10.2 effective megapixel DSLR Incorporating Nikon’s exclusive EXPEED image-processing concept, in-camera editing functions and a 3-area auto focus system.
It offers continuous shooting at 3.0 fps, near instant power-up in just 0.19 seconds and high ISO sensitivity.

Total Image Editor and Publisher, Shelton Muller was pleased to once again appear on Melbourne Radio 3AW recently talking photography with Ernie Sigley. He and Ernie bantered on the subject of digital photography, and Shelton found out the poor guy has never used a camera! We’ll have to fix that!
