5MP K850 Cyber-shot Sony Ericsson has announced a 5 megapixel Cyber-shot phone, that it says packs state-of-the-art digital camera features into a slim-design mobile phone.

It seems that mobile phone manufacturers are finally starting to realize that consumers want more than 1990’s style 1.3 megapixel resolution from their camera phones.

Sony offers digital SLR

Sony is finally offering a digital SLR camera with the introduction of the DSLR-A100. This is not a big surprise, especially when you consider that according to our 2006 reader survey more than 30% of Total Image readers are planning to purchase a digital SLR camera in the next 12 months.
